Reliable Concrete gets CPC approval in January for new concrete batching plant on West Commerce closer to Hampton. Objections to clustering of batch plants along West Commerce. Commissioners say they should not support the renewal of the SUP for the location at 1025 W. Commerce when it comes back to them in April of 2018.

Storage warehouse request for SUP at site of Montessori School passed by CPC in January.

Utility burial starts at S30 along FWA frontage.

FWADG solicits design from Gary Buckner for an automotive-themed piece of public art. Installation stalls while search for site continues.

Coombs Creek Trail extension to Plymouth/Hampton underway.

Don Raines working on green infrastructure linear trail project between Sylvan and Beckley roughly along old railroad spur line or West Main.

Whisk Creperie, Ten, Cibo Divino, Synch Yoga, and Taco Deli open at Sylvan 30.

Southern Gateway meetings result in redesign with no-toll component and possible deck park near zoo.

CVS zoning case at Singleton/Sylvan denied at CPC because of neighborhood’s objection to inclusion of parcels on Topeka. Those lots are within the overlay granted to them for protection from development triggered by Trinity Groves.

Columbus Properties project goes vertical across from Trinity Groves. Hoffman Hots demolished. Babbs relocated to Trinity Groves.
